Waheed K. Bajwa, MD, Board Certified in Adult & Addiction Psychiatry

Dr. Waheed K. Bajwa is board-certified in adult psychiatry and addiction psychiatry and is certified by the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology. He has twenty years of experience in the field of psychiatry. Dr. Bajwa has held academic positions in Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Bajwa has extensive experience in working with managed care and has special interest in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adult ADHD, and dual diagnosis. Dr. Bajwa is local and regional speaker for several pharmaceutical companies. Dr Bajwa coordinates care of his patients with primary care physicians, psychotherapists, inpatient attendance and hospitalist. Return to Top

Amer Qureshi, MD, Board certified in adult and child psychiatry

Dr. Amer Qureshi is a child and adolescent psychiatrist. He completed his residency at University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York and completed his child psychiatry fellowship at University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. Dr. Qureshi has been in practice of adult and child psychiatry for the last 10 years. He is board certified in adult and child psychiatry. Stephanie Machalicky, PMHNP-BC

Stephanie is a board certified Family Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate nursing degree from East Carolina University and then worked as a psychiatric nurse for six years at UNC Hospital on the multiple inpatient psychiatric units. She completed her masters degree at UNC-Chapel Hill and is able to provide diagnostic assessments, medication management and psychotherapy to individuals across the life span. Her interests are childhood and adult mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADD/ADHD and play therapy. Stephanie is also a member of the International Society for Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses. Natalie Chigozie, LCSW

Natalie Chigozie is a board-certified licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina. She has eight years of experience working in the human services field. Her therapeutic focus is on groups, individuals, and families. She practices with a strong cognitive behavioral approach, but also integrates psychodynamic and dialectical behavioral therapeutic approaches. She specializes in treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder. Mary Emerson, MSW, LCSW

Mary Emerson is a psychotherapist, licensed in North Carolina, providing services to adults, adolescents and children. Specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, bipolar, disorder, post traumatic stress, sexual abuse and sexual trauma, family-of-origin issues, eating disorders and behavioral issues. 21 years of experience including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies. Jeffrey Randall, PSY.D

Dr. Jeffrey Randall is a licensed clinical psychologist and has his Health Service Provider certification. He received his masters and doctoral degrees at the Florida School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University in Tampa, FL and completed his internship at Nebraska Mental Health Center in Lincoln, NE. Dr. Randall joined Cary Behavioral Health subsequent to working in Louisiana for the past 3 years. He has experience working with a wide variety of clients on problems such as mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment disorders, grief/loss, stress management, identity issues, and domestic violence. His approach to therapy is largely eclectic, and he has interests in administering assessments and conducting group therapy. Return to Top

Cindy Evans, Office Manager

Cindy Evans resides in Cary, N.C., she has been involved with health care for over 10 years. She enjoys meeting patients and looks forward to getting to know them better. She believes “good customer service is the key to business success”. She brings a tremendous amount of experience dealing with people and is dedicated to the daily operations of the practice.
